Public Health England: Women’s reproductive health survey
Researchers from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine have partnered with Public Health England to develop a women’s reproductive health survey in England.
The survey will enable reproductive health data to be collected regularly, at a population level through digital channels. This will allow Public Health England to understand more about the effects of various reproductive-health oriented UK policies. This has potential to improve the reproductive health and well-being of women, enhance NHS care and services and the commissioning of such services, and inform health policies and those for other sectors, such as educational institutions and the workplace.
Public Health England want to make sure that the voices of women across all parts of the country are heard, including those who may be under-presented in research. This will help better understand particular needs and challenges and how these can be addressed.
