COVID Response: Service user feedback
South Tyneside Sexual Health Services introduced rapid changes in response to the COVID 19 pandemic to ensure maintenance of service delivery providing continuous provision for service users.
The outbreak of COVID 19 and social distancing guidance, impacted the way services operate in regards to consultations, limiting the number of service users on site, resulting in Sexual Health Services operating in a slightly different format. This was to ensure the safety of patients & staff in compliance with national guidance.
South Tyneside Sexual Health Services are now operating a telephone consultation appointment system and have recently launched digital platforms to support the ongoing response to the COVID pandemic.
The survey design aims to improve service user experience, by gaining valuable feedback from patients on the changes Sexual Health Services have made.
We value our patients input to help us improve access and design of services, and to implement new changes by consulting the local population.
